Though the calendar says spring started Wednesday I do not believe mother nature got the memo. Our first day of spring started with several inches of snow. It was quite a depressing way to see spring come in. Online you were seeing wanted pictures of the groundhog. The pictures gave many of us at work a good laugh. Sadly the weather report has not improved. We are a high of 40 today which is better, but then tomorrow we drop back into the 30s for the incoming snow.
The chicks and goats are anxiously waiting to go outside again. The little ones cannot handle these high of 40 degree days let alone the high of 30's. Hopefully we will get lucky one day soon so we can complete the barn, pens, and fencing projects that we have for the year. Once those are done things will be alot easier for us to take care of the animals and they will have more room to roam.
We truly enjoy spending time on our mini farm and working as a family. Making things on our own as often as possible
