Our Farm Current & Future
In 2015 we were blessed to to buy the property of our dreams with land to achieve whatever our heart desires. As we continue down that path in 2018 we will be offering fresh organic heirloom produce, fresh eggs ans other offerings, to as many people as possible at the St. Joseph, MI Saturday Farmer's Market while perfecting our timing for a future CSA (tentatively 2020).
We also offer a variety of naturally made goat milk soaps.
We are enjoying today & looking forward to the future !!!
Growing up I loved the weekends where we could stop by my Grandparents fruit farm and pick our own fruit right off the trees. I always wanted to raise animals and participate in 4-H, but unfortunately my family did not live in an area that permitted it. My husband was more fortunate and grew up raising pigs on a Christmas tree farm with his family. We have always loved the farm life and while we are not able to farm for a living we wanted to give our children a little piece of that lifestyle. Our family has been blessed to have new additions over the last few years. We began small with some layer hens in 2011. We wanted to expand our farm to include a dairy animal. Since our children are still young we felt that a dairy cow would not be a wise decision at this time. After researching dairy goats, we made the decision to expand our family and include Nigerian Dwarf, Boer, and Lamancha Goats.
